Motor sports emotionalised Since Formula 1 returned to the country in 2014, the Red Bull Ring has been a mecca for Austrian motor sports enthusiasts once again. From the German Touring Car Championship through the Red Bull Air Race and the Truck Race Trophy to the number one attraction in motor sports - Formula 1 –everyone is exceptionally well catered for. It was not just the Ring but also the entire region that was rebuilt with one aim in mind: to create a fantastic playground for adults. Project Spielberg, as the development is known, encompasses the Red Bull Ring, a Driving Centre, its very own fleet of around 100 vehicles, a go-kart track, several off-road tracks and hotels and restaurants in a range of price categories.
A platform was developed for visitor interaction with the Spielberg Project, via which visitors can take photos on-site, add an event-specific background and share them with friends. All the photos taken during an event are combined in a vast mosaic which forms a a motif of choice - the event's logo, for example. This mosaic is shown on all screens on site and is availableon a specifically created website afterwards.
The images collected can also be exported and forwarded to printers, incorporated into an HTML gallery or automatically saved into a Facebook album.
